These self-paced tutorials will walk you through the process of installing and using free software that can remove most of the common spyware, viruses and worms from your infected computer. Some symptoms of spyware, viruses and worms are: computer has started to run slower with normal operation, lots of pop-up ads, new files on desktop that you didn't put there and Internet homepage keeps changing. These applications may not be able to remove all problems, but they are a good start. Also it is very important that these applications be kept up to date via the Internet, so that all new threats can be identified.
